E' disponibile il download della Build 14946 di Windows 10 (PC / Mobile) Insider Preview per i Windows Insiders, pronti a testarla (Microsoft-Blog compreso).
- Personalizzazione esperienza d'uso del Touchpad di Precisione: nuova sezione inserita nelle impostazioni del Touchpad che permettono la personalizzazione delle gestures con 3 e 4 dita per il il multitasking delle attività, switch tra le App e Desktop Virtuali, swipes a destra e sinistra e molto altro. E' stata inserita anche una pagina di impostazioni avanzate per personalizzare ulteriormente la propria esperienza d'uso;
- Separazione delle impostazioni di timeout dello schermo quando utilizzato Continuum (Mobile): ora è possibile disattivare lo schermo quando non viene utilizzato Continuum, risparmiando così la batteria e lo schermo. Se l'utente sta lavorando su un documento Word, lo schermo del telefono viene spento senza interrompere l'attività e se, per esempio, deve effettuare una chiamata, è possibile effettuare tutte le procedura senza interrompere Continnum. E' possibile impostare il timeout dello schermo in modo indipendente per il telefono nelle apposite impostazioni;
- Riattivazione oraria del Wi-Fi: una nuova opzione è disponibile nelle impostazioni del Wi-Fi e permette di impostare un tempo per la riaccensione automatica;
- Gestione delle Mappe Offline (ora anche per Mobile): è possibile scegliere dove salvare le mappe scaricate;
- Nuova voce in "Impostazioni > Tasks" (ora anche per Mobile): controllo delle App che possono accedere ai task;
- Estensione dell'orario di attività (ora anche per Mobile): ora è possibile impostare fino a 18 ore nell'orario di attività in Windows 10 Mobile Enterprise, mentre per la versione classica rimane 12 ore;
- Nuova icona per Windows Update (ora anche per Mobile): è stata introdotta una nuova icona per Windows Update che si integra perfettamente con il design di Windows 10;
- Restyling per la sezione "Consumo dati" (Mobile): modifiche nell'interfaccia e miglioramenti;
- Impedire la correzione automatica (Mobile): una correzione automatica appare come primo suggerimento in grassetto ma nel caso l'utente non desidera correggere la parola perchè non è ciò che vuole dire, è possibile vedere come secondo suggerimento candidato la parola scritta originariamente migliorando così l'esperienza della scrittura. Inoltre viene aggiornato anche il dizionario dell'utente così da offrire una correzione dedicata;
- Opzione per rimuovere una parola dal dizionario utente (Mobile): la battitura della tastiera e delle parole incrementa anche il dizionario per offrire sempre il meglio all'utente ma può capitare delle volte di digitare una parola errata (volutamente o meno) e di inviarla e il dizionario di conseguenza salva la parola anche se errata e questo potrà ripresentarsi nei prossimi suggerimenti. Da ora è possibile rimuovere la parola da dizionario semplicemente selezionando il segno "-" prima della parola suggerita e così nei prossimi suggerimenti non verrà più visualizzata evitando di conseguenza l'errore e migliorando l'esperienza della scrittura;
- Inserimento di più lingue nella previsione del testo (Mobile): ora sono disponibili nuove lingue per il supporto della funzionalità della previsione del testo delle tastiere;
- Backup Settimanali (Mobile): la pianificazione dei backup è cambiata e da questa Build saranno effettuati una volta alla settimana.
Fix e Miglioramenti (PC):
- Optional components such as Hyper-V and Bash should remain installed after updating to this build.
- We have fixed the issue where signing into games that use Xbox Live would not work. You should be able to sign-in to Xbox Live in games in this build.
- We fixed the issue causing Microsoft Edge to sometimes crash on launch, or when you type in address bar or try to open a new tab. You no longer need to run the PowerShell script.
- We fixed the issue causing touch scrolling to be too sensitive in Windows 10 apps, such as Microsoft Edge.
- We fixed an issue where Explorer.exe would hang when attempting to open considerably large .MOV files.
- We fixed an issue that could result in the network icon occasionally getting into a state where a red X would display in the taskbar despite an active internet connection, until the device had been restarted.
- We fixed an issue where if the device’s brightness was automatically adjusted after being woken from sleep, the brightness level shown in the Action Center’s Brightness Quick Action might not reflect the current brightness of the device.
- We fixed an issue leading to Narrator not tracking focus on the Start Menu All apps list or tiles.
- We fixed an issue potentially resulting in the “Open with…” dialog displaying with two entries for Calculator after tapping the Calculator key on a keyboard or running the Calculator app.
Fix e Miglioramenti (Mobile):
- We fixed the issue causing you to get into a state where text messages will fail to send.
- When your phone is connected to your PC, long lists of captured photos will now load significantly faster in File Explorer.
- We’ve updated Narrator’s reading order for Windows 10 apps which display an app bar on the bottom of the app, for example OneDrive, so now the contents of the page will be read before the contents of the app bar
- We fixed an issue resulting in video thumbnails sometimes not being shown in WhatsApp – videos received from this build onwards will display a thumbnail.
- We fixed an issue resulting in Camera app video recordings having a slight crackle to their audio in recent builds.
Bug (PC):
- If you have 3rd party antivirus products such as Bitdefender, Kaspersky Antivirus, F-Secure Antivirus and Malwarebytes installed on your PC – your PC might not be able to complete the update to this build and roll-back to the previous build.
- Larger Windows Store games such as ReCore, Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3, Killer Instinct and Rise of the Tomb Raider may fail to launch.
- PCs that are capable of Connected Standby such as the Surface Book and Surface Pro 4 may bugcheck (bluescreen) while in Connected Standby.
Bug (Mobile):
- The button for check new updates isn't visible.
